Hand-tieds Release the water from the water reservoir by cutting a hole in the cellophane over a sink. Remove all gift wrapping. Do not untie your flowers. They have been specially arranged and tied ready to be placed into a vase. Follow care instructions as for Bouquets. Arrangements Top up the container with water daily. Fruit Fresh or artificial fruit is sometimes included in flower arrangements for decorative purposes only. Do not remove or eat as it may have been secured with wooded or plastic fixings. Candles These are for decoration only. To avoid the risk of fire, you are advised not to light them. Plants Most plants like light and an even temperature. Avoid draughts, fumes and cold. Foliage plants require little water in winter. Flowering plants generally need more water. Water Azaleas and Hydrangeas daily. Water St Paulia and Cyclamen plants from the bottom and not the top. All plants should be fertilised as required. Please handle with care Flowers/plants are for display only and must not be consumed. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Certain plants and flowers may be harmful or may cause irritation, so please be careful when handling flowers, plants or foliage as a precaution. In case of irritation, wash affected skin immediately with cold water. Keep skin out of sunlight, and do not rub or scratch irritated areas. Visit your doctor if symptoms persist. In case of ingestion of any flowers, plants or foliage, drink a glass of water immediately. Visit your doctor or casualty department as soon as possible, taking with you a sample of the plant matter or a note of the botanical name if known.
